About Us
Probably, like many salsa dancers, I started off by learning
Ceroc in 1998. Then a friend introduced me to Salsa, which I found so exciting.
My first dancing instructors were Louie Lapman and Tony Ainsley, who both gave me
a good basic grounding in Salsa and inspired me to learn more.
It was quite bizarre how I got into teaching. In August 1999 I was
in the the process of selling my business and invited some friends and
customers to the closing down party. What a fantastic party that turned out to be...
a genuine garage party! At that party someone asked if I would teach Salsa at
a club in Sarrat Village. Of course I accepted the challenge and with the help of Tony Austin
and our respective partners we started to teach Salsa using the name "Salsa Travel and Services"
I am still teaching Salsa today and enjoying it just as much as when I first started back in 1999
